Keep the 01 or trade for the 05?

Well my 01 LX 5 speed now has 110,000+ miles. There is a lot of maintenance due now. Drove the 05 LX and it was a lot nicer car. A lot of items now standard like the keyless , CD , rear seat head rests, floormats, rear swaybar and 15 " wheels. A lot quiter and smoother riding than my 01 LX. Has the side airbags. I like the way the instruments light up.

Anyway , they said they would sell it right at $15,000. They said I would get at least $4500 for mine. I like the new 05 but the idea of going into debt another $10,500 + $630 tax does not sound to well. Plus I still owe on the 01 - $3000. So with $2000 down I would have to finance $12,130 @ 2.9% :

$267.95 @ 48 months
$217.42 @ 60 months

Then there is the fact the 8th gen will be here soon. So , that makes me want to hold off. Probably better to keep the 01?

Thanks for everyone's opinions - it seems that waiting is the thing to do. The 8th Gen is close , I'll wait to see what its like. Could be a hell of a lot nicer car. Besides , mine is only at 110,000 miles - has a lot of life left in it!
