I know this is probably a dumb question and I should just wait until I can afford the entire kit, but what do you guys think of just the bumper lips?

i have the OEM lip spoiler kit on right now all around the car, but i've ordered a type b lip for just the front since it has rock chips and stuff in it from whoever had the car before me. But here's pics of the OEM lip kit:












Maybe it's just me but IMO lip kits > body kits

Body kits are too extreme and stereotypical for me.

how much does it cost you for the lip kit including painting it? i was considering getting one but i dont know how much it was cost for that paintjob

are you talking about 01-03 lips or 04-05 lip kits? i have a 04 with a oem lip kit on it..

depends if you have the patience or not. i have hunted the lip i wanted for a year and a half (rediculous), but at the end i paid a total of $273 US for my whole kit. type b front was new, WW G5 sides and OEM rear lip are used but in excellent condition. Bottom line, if you have the patience you can get it for relevently cheap. Paint will cost about 300 for me.

Will the Grillecraft lower grill work with the OE lip kit?? I'm considering the OE kit. If I am not mistaken, the OE kit comes painted. I'm curious about the mounting of the whole thing though. Any comments??

Yea i just bought my self a CF Type-R front lip.. still waiting on it...the reason is having a CF reduces paint job expenses and looks good on your ride. The downside = how screwd would u be if u dont watch out for those curbs and stone chips.
I'll post it on once i get it installed.

@ 6psi it was around 160ish whp, 150ish wtq.........but now at 9psi...i have no clue, but it pulls MUCH harder.
