127 is measured at the crank on a engine dyno

you lose power thanks to powersteering, a/c and other electrical goodies and also have powerloss through tranny.

Actual hp is measured at the wheels. You prolly have like 105whp.

I hope that is 105 stock because a compleate stock 04 ex stick will get 105-108 to the wheels depending on the type of dyno and temp. I would say with the mods about 115-120 to the wheels. It is really hard to to say without a dyno.

ya wheel hp is what actually makes your car move. Here is mine for an example after fuel tuning. 100whp auto with these mods

-NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
-Ground Wire Upgrade
-Apexi VAFC-II
-Optima Yellow Battery
-Kamikaze Ceramic Header
-DH Racing Port and Polish Head
-B+M Transmission Cooler
-AEM Tru Power Pulleys
-Hyper Voltage System

I think you would have about the same as you did stock, small mods dont do anything significant to our engines

aem pulleys help without causing alot of problem. so do the iridium plugs (uses less voltage) and that's about it really for mods you will notice more power with. Otherwise, I would lighten up the car. No huge system with subs and amp, remove spare tire, don't put heavy stuff in your car. Also getting better tires and lowering springs will make it feel like your car is faster because you will turn better.

but really the best mod for increasing hp is a turbo kit. However, you can't slap one on and not expect problems.

i would say a turbo and/or swap. being realistic, the d17 motor wont get you far since its been proven bolt-on mods give you none to minimal power. if you want to keep the mods you currently have, then i would say flywheel, better clutch, pullies and cams?

well it makes the engine have to work less. It underdrives the alternator and power steering. The only thing I noticed was less voltage being made at idle. Steering was like before. As soon as you press the gas it goes to normal. Makes the car feel alot better. Well it's sorta a hard install. A shop did mine and took 7 hours cause a nut broke off. Otherwise a couple hours should do it if you have some idea about working on cars. There's a diy with pics somewhere too.

One word of caution. These cars really have a tendency to lose low end torque by adding mods that reduce restriction like intake and exhaust. The air doesn't flow fast enough, which is why I've decided to keep stock intake/exhaust.

yeah, i would never install underdrive pullies cuz it drains your voltage. Sux if you have a stereo.

you can do it your self but with the alt. you have to take it out then to it to an alt. shop and get them to take the stock pulley off and new one on, that is waht i had to do. but aside from that the p/s pulley is a breeze and taking the alt. out and puting it back in is a breeze as well, if you have any qustions pm me.
