VafcII on LX???

I know that the VAFCII is for the EX, maybe SI's, too?? I dunno, but I have a LX, and I know I need a SAFCII for the LX. I am planning on getting an EX Head sometime soon. If I got a VAFCII would I be able to hook it up on the LX head until I got the EX Head? Like just not connect the vtec wires or something?? Thanks for any replies. I dont thinkI have seen this topic before, and didnt see anything on it. Thanks a lot!

right on, thanks a lot! Now I wont waste my tax return on the safc. Ill probably be getting a head at the same time though anyways. Thanks a lot though!
