What about some of the peeps here with swapped k20a2's or Catalyst? Hes got 300WHP or something sick like that. I dont know I think we got a few peepz here. I dont like straight lines anyway. Auto-X. Lifes always better when you come out sideways.

not trying to hijack, but havent I seen 11s from turbo civics? ur telling me a stock srt-4 can is <11s? my ***.. 11s would take a stock vette..

no one on this site can take an srt4 my ***, I'd say more like any civic w/ turbo can take an srt4.. (and I have no clue about the swapped civics)

ditto, I dont like the srt-4....rather get an plain wrx or the New type S might not be as fast but looks sick and it has good street rep. But my taste is not like all others, so congrads nevertheless man. I aint a hater.

I got the car for a little over $17,000 out the door.
Yes I know that WRX's and EVO's are faster but they were out of my price range, an evo gos for $33,000 where I live.
Yes turbo vics are faster than a stock SRT-4, but You all know I wont keep it stock
Im allready ordering the stage 2 kit and mopar exhaust. Thats good for 0ver 300 WHP.....
To the guy w/ the GTO STFU. thoose are 2 totaly diff cars.....my 98 SS camaro will bend your car over and rape it....just like it would the SRT-4.
The reliability has greatly imroved since 2003, so Im not worried. Atleast I have a warenty and a turbo together this time around.
There is no replacement for displacement....a 2.4L twin cam turbo motor is a much better platform than a 1.7L single cam. Say it w/ me boys and girls "torque"
There are lots of street driven 12 second and faster SRT-4's
I am doing a 2" drop very soon
and whats w/ the "hope you dont like making turns" coment? that thing comes out of corners like crazy thanks to the factory Quaife LSD.
Dont get me wrong I still love this site and will continue to be a member. Like I said I sold the vic to my GF so Im still driving it from time to time.

Rep Power: 0 the srt is so much fun the SOB just attracts so much attention and it wasnt even in his hands for 24 hours yet and every wanna be racer on our way back up to the dealership and back wanted to get a piece of it... well maybe im overexageerating a bit but the little sucker moves he got her with 16 miles and now i think we are already up to 180-190 lol break in period has somewhat expired we enticed 3 cars tonight but thats a story ill let riceburner tell you

I still love that car, and it seems to react so well to mods. I sorta want one still, neon or not. You can say "oh, it's a neon." but still, we just drive a civic. So I mean come on people, put it into perspective here.
id like to race an srt. i have taken a wrx with perrin intercooler, up-pipe, down-pipe, carbon tie exhaust, intake, underdrive pulleys running 15lbs of boost with a leak oh and he has the greddy bov. my buddy has a sick car and would kill from a stop but on the freeway he cant hang.
