When i bought my car, the dealer had installed some altezzas (carbon look) but i didn't really care for them. Now they leak some when i wash it.
I'm looking at some stock ones. I think 04 tails would fit but the dealer my dad goes through isn't sure that they will fit.

Also, will 04s look good on my 01?

dude, you have altezzas.. replacing them with garbage bags would be nice. lol. flip a coin and pick 01 or 04. lol.. personally, i don't like 04's.. but whatever ya like...

i always wondered if some dealerships sold the cars wth altezzas, i see a lot of cars around here with the same altezzas and thats the only mod... i dont think they do that though, just made me wonder

the 04 tails are super nice.. cuz the backup lense is not pink like on the 01 02..
search the lighting forum for DIYs on this.. theres a few of them

i would say 04, cuz they look nicer, are clearer than the 01-02 version

the car was used at it sat on the lot for like 2 months so they tinted the windows, added the spoiler and the wheels and put the altezzas on.

iIf my dad can get them through his work, im hoping on getting them some time soon and the reason for 04 is because i heard and think they look nice and because the dealer ship doesn't carry anything under 03 anymore. cause i also looked at the stock lip kit.

Hey civic lx2001. Definately go with the 04 coupe tail lights. I have 01 civic coupe with 04 tail lights. Let me tell you something before you go out and pay 200 for tail lights that wont fit....

The 04 tail lights are direct fit onto the 01-03 coupe tail lights. THey fit perfectly. One bad thing is that the light bulbs and light bulb sockets dont fit. Because of this, you will need to get a new wiring harness for the whole back( honda only has them in whole). THe harness costed me 50$ and light bulb sockets 5$ each (needed 4).
So only go with the 04s if you know already that you need to buy the harness for 04 civic. THe 01 harness will definately *not fit*.

Btw youll need new light bulbs too.
