okay so i was scheduled from 4:30pm-11:00pm for work... but had to stay till 1:00am... im goin 90+ in a 55 zone. get pulled over my a chick... she told me that if i got a ticket rite now id lose my license till i was 21... i told her the story bout work and she asked me what school i go to... i live in va and i told her oakton hs... she had a bro that goes there, same age n grade. she tells me then she wont give me a ticket but she would put it down in her "database" and if i get a ticket from 18-20 id lose my license till i was 21... is that true?
hell no. My friend just got a ticket(1st) and all he had to do was pay it and go to traffic school. I guess since ur not 18 ur not suppose to be driving during those hrs 1AM-on. Not sure about that though. Have u got any other tickets?

I got a ticket for 94 in a 65, and the bracket was like 20-30mph over limit, and 30+ is like a new bracket IE more severe punishment.. and if im not mistaken 30+ can get u into serious ****.. (probably losing ur license) but im not sure tho..
yeah i think curfew is another thing by itself. Btw how long have u had ur license because i am still in hs and i cant drive with anybody over under 21 or 18 for the first 6 months or i get my license suspended.

30+ is manditory court appearance, not elligible for traffic school, and judge decides. u could also get ur license suspended for that ****. on top of that u get 2 points i think, on ur insurance. then ur yearly fees goes ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
however. i hired a lawyer. she went to court for me. got me a $100 fine, online traffic school (lol), and no points on the insurance
(<< that saved my *** tons of $$). but the price i paid for getting a lawyer wasnt fuking cheap. there goes 300. but it was worth it cuz i saved my insurance from jumping up a couple of hundred a year

Rep Power: 275 I got pulled over a long time ago for doing 96 in a 55 and I only had to go to traffic school so the ticket was taken off my record. But the judge did take pity on me. In Arizona anything over 20mph over the limit is criminal speeding. And the city I was in you can actually spend a night in jail. When the cops pulled me over they treated me like I just robbed a bank. Yanked me out of my car and everything. I was actually doing about 115 but when I saw them I got on the brakes but it was too late.

I was pulled over the other day doing 132 in a 65...the cop let me go only b/c I was gonig to the hospital b/c my gf got in a wreck and they wouldn't tell me how she was...He escorted me to the hospital...Cool cop...and at first he laughed, b/c he didn't suspect a civic ever going that fast...

Rep Power: 0 I just got busted last week for the 18th time and i got hit at 93 in a 65 zone. The cop gave me two choices
1. Points on Licence (which mean i loose it) or
2. Citation no point just fine!!
Hmmm which one to choose, i still have no item how i havnt lost my licence yet!!

think about it this way, its better to pay a **** load of money...... like $500.. one time. VS. paying an extra hundred every year that you have your license.

Work voids out time curfews (I'm under 18).. in my state at least.

Rep Power: 0 When I bought my Tundra back in 01 I was on a back road. Got it up to 105 mph before the limiter kicked in. Two cops on the side of the road (lights off and it was at night). Got clocked at 102 in a 50. They pulled me over and asked what the "hurry" was. I told them "New truck, back country road, testing the speed on it". I got away with a 300 dollar ticket and no court appearance..........

Oakton HS is in Fairfax County, and FFX county 5-0 are asses. You got lucky. Usually 90 in a 55 means automatic jail time, no matter your age. 20 over and it's reckless, and probably endangering lives of yourself and others around you.
