rs emblem red outline?

i just got my rs emblem in the mail from a ebay store for only $10. and it is this kind of emblem:

and i was wondering. wat kind of paint could i use to paint it black? i just want to paint that red outline black, not the whole thing. and i want the kind of paint that wont flake or ruin the material. any ideas? could i use the acura dealership touch up paint on the outline?(see where its red...i want that black)

what i would do is tape the RS portion with masking tape and leave the outer trim exposed. Then sand the exposed area with a fine grit sanding paper about 4000 grit that will make the paint bond better so it wont chip.

I would seriously look at the touch-up pens at the auto stores.

This whole sharpie thing gave me a new idea for a sig.

Long live the sharpie!
The one and only ghetto touch up pen.

^ eh its just me tho...im kinda **** like that cuz i have some red parts under the hood but outside i dont have anything red at all! and to me it just stands out alot more even tho its just that tiny. i couldnt find the rs emblem that doesnt have that outline(where its only the rs without the outline) and so thats why i want to paint it. and besides im not buying the touch up paint cuz i already have one(from when i tried to touch up my friends rsx and some of my oem hood too, but got my hood repainted after accident)

and yea i know $10 for just an emblem that says rs. well its alot cheaper than wat i saw before when i was looking for one. would you rather pay $30 or more on one from those other dealers? cuz that is wat they were charging for it.

and i tried this already with the black acura touch up pen and i fuked up! shoulda been patient and mask this ****. so i tried paint stripper and it fuked up even more cuz it started to strip the red paint after it got all the black out. so im fuked over $10. so yep pretty ghey! thinking about getting another one but maybe later.

i think its the same vendor... i tried asking him to let me do pickup.. he wouldn't last time i checked. and he wouldn't do combine shipping either. i would assume an emblem wouldn't take up that much room
