Vented Hood 'n Water?

This might be a dumb question...but when you have a hood with vents in it and an intake, don't you have to worry about water getting in through the vents when it rains 'n whatnot?

some hoods come with little pieces of plastic or other material to cover the vents when it's raining or what not

Either way its not that big of a deal. Not enough water gets through to have your intake suck any up. You almost have to submerge your intake for it to suck up water.

Nope, I had my intake in for about 1 yr and a vented cf hood and nothing ever happened. I didn't have those cover things either. My engine was still pretty clean also.
