if you drive the car daily i WOULDNT DO IT!!!! i have had my paint and rear bumper completly re-done twice by two different body shops and its cracked again on both sides. i have never seen a daily driver w/ a molded bumper not cracked. if you find a better way to do it please tell me how, cause i love the look, but it sucks re-painting my car

What material is the lip you had molded on? My bodyshop guy won't touch fg, he only molds if i have ABS or (preferably) polyurethane. He uses urethane to mold it on, and unless you slam into a curb you shouldn't be cracking.
here is another guy.... i thin he has the same exact kit as you also

yea it will crack. But hey thats what it costs to be one of those really nice looking car show quality cars. Thats why ive given up my dream of being in a show and doing well. I just cant compete with cars that are not daily driven like mines.
Not sure why anyone would have the front bumper molded on. What if you have to take it off for some kind of maintenance? Or changing the headlights and so forth? Mine is gonna look real clean and fit perfect, but it's not going to be molded. The sides and the rear are molded on though. Car should be done this next Tuesday. Going in for clear coat today and gonna sit until Tuesday and get buffed...that is unless the bodyshop guys are screwing me over again.
i drive my car daily and have my ww g5 sides and rear molded and no stress cracks here. i drive 4+ hrs to car shows like twice a month and no problems with mine. jsut find a good body guy i guess who can mold right.

i wouldnt mold the bumpers, but the sides...yeah.
