Exactly. I had a '95 Civic until last year that everyone said still smelled new. Don't eat too much, keep it clean, and DON'T use air fresheners. They get stale and cars sit around awhile with the same air in them.

Rep Power: 329 i had the squash one. still have it, i realized a refill wasn't worth what they charge. i use the maple leaf things usually, now i have a blue foot that i just like how it looks on the mirror.

Rep Power: 0 I purchased an Air Spencer (squash) scent off Ebay and it works great. I just keep it in the open slot under my radio. I have it closed all the way (you can control how much scent it puts out) and I swear I can smell it before I even open the door! Nice, strong scent but not overpowering. I've only had it a little over a week so we shall see how long it lasts.

You can buy air fresheners that are called "New Car Scent" and give off that new car scent. I've never bought one but check Canadian Tire or Pepboys and places like that if you want one.
