this was run at LACR which is 2700 ft elevation lol thats a .5 correction

plan A is to have a removeable bonnet that will hook to a short ram type intake. that will take care of daily driving and rain. for the track they wil be wide open dont have a big fly problem at the tracks over here lol

Important factor that was never brought up, weight. How did you manage to get to 2250 lbs, Toyota as of 2000, took off an extra 100 lbs compared to the 99 GTS, correct? especially with what looks to be a bomex bodykit (atleast 50 extra lbs), was this before the kit or after?

Explain this, if getting to 13's all motor is that easy, why do people shell out 3500+ for turbo kits from X-S and SF to hit mid 13's on this car. Why wouldnt someone just learn to drive like you? I know this car is fairly tough to keep in the powerband, but most GTS owners master this within a month of owning the car.

Now that fact still remains, with over 100 posted 1/4 mile times of the GTS, how many are under 2 second 60'? None. How many in the 12's with nos or turbo, none. How many 13 second all motor GTS besides 00celicagts, 1 with a 13.989.

yes, that is a bomex kit and I remove the front at the track so I dont mess it up. it's actually not significantly heavier then stock. stock 7th gen gts 2500 lbs

If most people mastered that so quickly there would be a lot less 16 second 6spd gt-s running around. # 1 question on the celica boards is how do I land in lift on the 1-2 shift. for some people its easy, for others they couldnt do it to save their life. and it was easy for ME to hit 13's not everyone. anyone who put in the effort I have has run good times. theres a guy named petsnowman who is well on his way to doing the same. he ran 14.7 stock, 14.4 gutted and stock motor, and has yet to run with I/H/E which he just got. No doubt in my mind that he will hit 13's.

about the 60' - I dunno it's hard to be the best I guess I was running 2.05's constant before the power fc so how hard is it to see .05 come off with the ability to launch in lift? do you realize what kind of power and tq difference that makes? I'm guessing you dont. stock ecu is rev limited to 7100 rpms in neutral and does not alloow lift to engage. common problem with drs is to bog. to get the 1.9's I launch at 8300 rpms and hook at 6500 rpms with lift already engaged. this means not only am I coming off the line at a higher rpm this means I'm carrying more momentum and I'm sitting right at peak power. this helped not only my 60' but my end result as well. if you knew as much about our power band as you pretend or if you did a lil better research you'd know all about the affects of the power fc and how it DRAMASTICALLY changes the attitude of this car. and after some practice my teamate running the 75 shot has done 1.9's also same technique except he has stock ecu and enough power to over come the bog

elevation kills times which is why there is an official conversion chart it's much better to run 13.7 then to run 14.0 and say well it woulda been a 13.7 at sea level. lol a lot of people dont understand the affects of elevation they just see the number

actually once again you are incorect. my teamate running nitrous pulls 1.9s also. and its quite funny that you completely ignore things like illusives 2.007 (another teamate of mine) thats so freaking close to a 1.9 it's not even funny. and as far as being 1 of 2 13 second all motor celicas goes I dunno what to tell ya. I guess I really am just that good if anything you're further showing how much more effort I put into being better then most people do.

I'm gonna search for some old vids that will again blow your mind.

since you like to search newcelica sooooo much heres a task for you.

look up a member by the name of mrtomcat (my teamate thomas who you keep referring to with the 75 shot)

tell me what you find out about his track times BEFORE joining my team.

He used to run 15.9's I/E and a 50 shot put him low 15's high 14's on a good day.
we helped give him pointers on what he was doing wrong and now look at his times. hes got the best 60' by far of ANY of the nitrous guys and he's among the fastest as well. (again 13.7 at 1200 ft in the wind would be easily 13.4 or better but refer to my earlier comment about elevation and perception)

So, once again the details ellude you. If you're gonna call someone out that knows more then you do, ya better do your homework and make sure you don't half a$$ it

I have seen his car on 2 occasions at the track and pitted with him. He has NO NITROUS His car is gutted to the max... no sway bars or anything.
Plain and simple he is fast and knows how to drive his car. If it was easy everyone would be hitting sub 2 sec 60 ft times....
If Carlsbad was stil open I would make the drive out there to race at sea level. It does not mean that I run NO2.

he's just mad cause his supposed friend barely runs a 13.4 with nitrous. this is quite a fast time and yet he expects us to just take his word for it lol but here I post all kinds of proof including people whove seen me at the track on many forums and yet he still doesnt believe it. lol I think he's just a hater cause even if I gave him my car he wouldnt hit close to the same times

Well gas weighs about 6 lbs so i doubt it would make much of a noticable difference. Nice track times though with only 200 hp imo and ur car weighing around 2100 give or take a few pounds.

Well i go to the track not only to race but also to watch quite a bit and i must say ive never seen an all motor civic run 12's EVER. fastest civic i've ever seen was a 11.6 second turbo hatch with B18C5 in it. But then again i live in ohio and im sure im california there are much more tuners and such but i have to give the guy props and a 1.6 60 time is sick.

Thanks again... I give the 1.60 60 fts to the M/H slicks i run. If anyone is looking to buy slicks these are the ones to get.When I first started running them i was ripping trannys out left and right. litteraly* ripping them out braking the case from the rear mount.There the only thing I can hook up with.
