Well guys, it's that time again, a new issue of Project ActiveTuning

This time we do the entire sound system. I actually split it up into three seperate issues:

- Part 1: Headunit & XM Radio
- Part 2: Speakers
- Part 3: Amps/Amp Rack/Fiberglassed Sub Enclosure

The issues include over 100 pictures, and DETAILED how-to's for installing all of the above things. So, even if you aren't trying to fiberglass a system in your car, but just want to learn how to install a headunit or speakers, read the issues!

Anyways, check them out, and let me know your thoughts. You can also post them in our forum (we have a dedicated thread, just look for the link at the bottom of each issue).

If your site wasn't at the bottom of every pic it'd be different. I'm just saying, you might wanna ask before you go posting pics with yout site and ish all over them(that's free advertisement, isn't that spam?). Looks good, don't get me wrong.

O, and it's in the wrong place IBTM

I can understand if that's a problem. If a mod sees it that way, please delete the post. If it's in the wrong forum but ok with a mod, please move to the correct one. Not trying to start any trouble here

Hey what's up civicvtec1ps, which one was your at the meet? We had literally JUST finished the system the day before that! A bit unfortunate that more people didn't showup since the year before there were like 170 cars I heard.

AH stfu. let him post. One question, is that a 12? why not double up on a pair of 10's? anyhow, clean fiberglassing.

Yup, it's a 12. Two 10's have been done before, and in fact can fit directly under that strut brace. The 12 under the brace hasn't been done yet, so we thought we take up the challenge, plus it looks damn cool IMO. First thing people usually say is how big the sub looks.

Sorry, I know places that, if you hotlink your site on theirs, no matter if it's ont pic, or whatever, they consider it advertising. Then, they take you to court and sue for advertising fees. I don't think Derek would actually do that truthfully. But, it does happen.

You don't have to sign up for anything to access the issues.

nice job on that, impressive. nice to see people staying with the single subwoofer. there is no need for multiple subs anymore with the capability of one nowadays. looks great.

if all that time was to be wasted on paint, install, everything, you would at least have used better gear
