New Gauges and stuff!

I installed them finally and they look great. I also threw in some pics of the mirrors at night and in the day lit up. I swapped out the projectors until I get a set of wire harnesses to handle the extra power for the bulbs. Other than that, the DIY on the gauges helped a lot, it is def. an easy thing to do and can be figured out easily as well, but it helps to know where to pry stuff and how it comes off, as well as which wire to connect the gauges to.

Gauges before in day

New Gauges in day
I still think I like the old style better in the day but its cool still.

Gauges before at night

New Gauges at night
A much better improvement.

The Civic
I put the old headlights in temporarily till I get a set of wire harnesses to handle the extra power in the projector bulbs.

Looking good! I like the car--nice and clean. Mirrors are sweet as well.

The old gauges are actually underneath the new ones. Instead of pulling them off and worrying about the needles being off these just set on top of them. I went to my Home Depot (where I work) and in the carpeting department grabbed some thing double sided tape, its a type used for laying carpet and really thin and strong, cut it up, put it on and stuck the gauges, all is good in the world.

I noticed it was missing awhile ago after I installed them. Doesnt bug me much since I dont sit in that speed often. The mirrors I am not sure about, my gf got them from Ebay for like $50.

OT: I am in the Garden Center, Power Equipment Specialist. No I don't play with flowers all day (for those who do not know HD that well)

Painting is still an option but for now I like how the black looks, it makes the turn signals stand out more and also matches the window area better. Since the windows are tinted, the black kinda keeps the lines up there clean.
