larger gains will come but first I need more fuel. then camshaft and throttle body. hoping for around 140hp to the wheels some day N/A.
I don't think that my head had a whole mm taken off but I could be wrong. It has been a while since I put it in.

Hmmm. Hopefully the gain is good. I'm also trying to get to around 140whp, but it's a long ways off. Just remember that every bit helps.
I can't wait till Friday...I'm finally getting my VAFC II and Cam gear tuned again....I think I'm hitting 130 un tuned...I may be wrong, but again I have a different P&P'd head and Valve Job. I guess those are ok numbers, but they should be a little better with everything you have. I'll post my results when I get home Friday Afternoon.

So what's the problem other than fuel? Anything we can do to up the numbers a bit? Seems that it should be making more power with all those mods.

I'm gonna go with bad dyno too. 125 isn't bad for I/h/e, but it is good considering you have DH products on your car.
But everybody that's posted so far is missing something, it not the peak hp is only half the story, you really need to take a look at how flat the power is to get a good idea of acceleration

I really want a stock dyno to get an idea of what exactly changed and how much. Either way. i'm heading out to the drags this weekend to see how slow I am with my 44lbs wheel tire combo.

Well as long as I get a noticablt gain, I'll be happy. For me the car is almost fast enough. But there are those times when you just need more power.

, well maybe if it got to be like that one on Sport Compact Car cover this month, but I won't have that anytime soon. Now driveable and fast is a differnt story, a K20 would help. I prefer 1/4 mile et's my self, they show how much power is actually being put down to the ground and actually include how you are as a driver AND it takes into acount that power curve stuff and all that in a matter of a few seconds. Not to mention it's cheaper, at least around here it is.
ok well every dyno is going to say something different. so really you don't want to look at the whp. you really want to look at the overall gain to the wheels (the power curve) but since he doesn't have a base line dyno this point is kinda mute.
Ok if our crank puts out 127 Crank hp / by lets say 15% then We have 109whp to the wheels! Give or take a few. I weigh 2570 with me in the car so I / that by my crank hp Which I guess is at about 140 or so! Thats 18.3 Hp/weight ratio! So If I have 140 to the crank and / by 15 or less depending on how much ur **** weighs Thats 119whp to the ground! So yes I think those numbers sound right for a 5speed ex!
I have I/e/H highflow cat Just got my cat and header on with new revo plus upgrades just waiting for tires so I can go back to the track!

Me too, where did that 140 hp come from, just a guess?

The key here is each dyno reads differently so if you really want to prove a point you need to dyno at the same dyno. I just dynoed a stock 98 civic ex coupe made 97 whp on a dynojet car was in good running condition. Really the head w/ a mild cam/ported manifold/throttle body should put down in the low 140 range. DHR service not good dhr heads make good power.

Well I hope to make at least that with my HD head, cam, im & tb when I put them on. Just waiting on the im to deliver, then I install, & dyno tune & post results.
