should i A, get a 1996 lexus Sc300
and it has a 2jz-ge engine stock (non-turbo supra)
will put 19x8.5 VOLK GT-C 3" lip (spark silver, high metallic silver) in front 235/35/19 and
20x11.5 VOLK GT-C 7.5" lip (spark silver, high metallic silver) in rear 285/30/20
TEIN Flex W/ edfc
tinted windows, and 4 piston brembo's front and 2 piston brembo's rear (the GOLD brembo's)
and have absolutely no money in the bank...later on i can fully turbo the supra engine to 400+HP w/ 1100-1400$ (friend owns a shop)

B: my civic the way it is... 101hp, 1 piston calipers, drums in rear, recaro's, 19" axis mesh2, B&G S3, tinted windows, system, Xenon kit. AND 3000$ IN BANK.

the sc300 is an older car but really nice ride and it does'nt hurt that the motor in there is damn near bullet proof. But you civic looks great and with the extra $3000 in the bank you can turbo your civic. Its a hard decision but i'd go with the sc300.

you are not going to get all those mods you listed for under 3k. the rims suspension and breaks are easily going to be over 5k. and it doesnt mean crap that your friend owns a shop, turbos still cost money, you would just save on install. a good turbo setup with a t3/t4, a greddy intercooler, and all the electronics such as electronic boost controller, turbo timer, air fuel controller, and everything else is going to put you well over 2k minimium for the turbo setup alone. so, i dont know where you are pulling 1100 from. only way you are going to get a turbo setup for that kind of money is if you pull it off a used car.

suspension=745$ shipped from my distrib
turbo=my friend turbo's SR20's alll day and his cost is 1100 for parts and that includes his self made mandrel bent piping and 3.5" back piping w/ a HKS hipower tip.all gauges, all timers, BOV, everything.(i figured more cause a bigger turbo for the nicer engine.)
wheels=bout 3k w/ tires after my discount.
brakes= i can get off a Soarer(japan sc300) track edition. $500 shipped for fronts and rears.


all together im selling my car for 11k bone stock, +wheels, +suspension,+seats, +kit, +system and that gives me about...17k, sc comes to about 12.5k and i owe around 5k on my civic. YESSIR i do the math...

hey if you got this all figured out, then good for you. just IMO i dont think you will have the best turbo setup for 1000 or else everyone who can weld would be turboing their car if they could do it that cheap. buy hey, good luck.

other thing i dont get is the 6k in mods you expect to get

rims - 2k
suspension - 600-700 maybe
seats - 500-600
kit - 600
system - i dont know what kind you got, but i dont think it is worth $2100

now dont think im trying to diss you or anything, im just giving you my opinion and what i think on this. but i like the sc300, i actually saw on at the track today that was that color and turbo'd and ran 13s. i liked it.

so yeah.. i am a lil under 6k... idk where i said 6k in mods tho...

dude wuick dotting all my i's and crossing all my T's im a ****ing math major and in the 10 seconds i wrote down the #'s they all came up and my car was 3k less overall so therefor 3k in bank

Anyway, I'd go for the SC. You seem to know your ish and can make a few bucks (and therefore regain the 3K) so it wouldn't be a loss at all. ...And in the end, you'd have a very pimp car. Now what happened to the TT G35?
