S2000 Steering Wheel! URGENT
About to purchase an S2000 steering wheel, will this fit?
I know it fits an RSX, and an RSX wheel fits our car, therefore this should work right? I want the airbag and cruise control to continue to work...Yay or Nay?
Anyhelp appreciated! THANKS!

I would be suprised if the Cruise works for you. You'll probably have to wire in the OEM switches somewhere. Check around, there's a DIY for that. I have the SiR wheel in my 2K1 Coupe and though I got the Air Bag to work the Cruise didn't and won't.

If you're doing this work yourself...CAUTION: Disconnect the battery before you do this. When you get the wheel put on and reconnect the battery, stay the hell out of the way of the airbag just in case it goes off when you start it up.

Okay...
Im hoping the cruise will work, I noticed the buttons on the S2000 cruise are slightly different than mine on my 02 civic. (no middle cancel button). If it doesnt work, could i just switch my control from the steering wheel? My guess is that its not that easy tho...never is...
Would you say it was worth the swtich? And whats you pay?
Sorry for the questions but I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!

You will need to use the OEM cruise switches and wiring. PM reddragon333 for his DIY, I haven't got time to search for it. The S2000 switch and wiring won't work. Just mount the OEM switch somewhere else near the center console or something

I used the cruise control unit from the EX and it bolts into the same spot the cruise control unit for the SI wheel does. They look almost identical. It wasnt relocated. Its bolts straight in ONLY difference is there is a larger gap between the horn button and the unit but only way to notice that is if YOUR the one installing it. No one else will.
The S2000 wheel will fit but there is a LOT of play in it so if it doesnt bother you go for it. You should be able to modify your cruise control unit but i THINK the plugs are the same.

I don't see the cruise being a big problem. If I recall it's only a 2-or-3-wire setup, regardless of the cancel button. I sold my steering wheel to a friend who had a 1.6EL. His original cruise controls were 2-button and mine were 3, but I plugged my cruise into his harness and all the buttons worked. I spliced my own harness to fit the RSX wheel I got, no problems there either.

****, cruise control wiring is the my least concern...
My main concern is it fitting correctly with no play in the wheel. Will I be the first person to have done this on here????

If you're doing this work yourself...CAUTION: Disconnect the battery before you do this. When you get the wheel put on and reconnect the battery, stay the hell out of the way of the airbag just in case it goes off when you start it up.
