Oh I know it's not permanent, I'm just too lazy to do it right now. I do eventually want to get it wired up though.

on a plus note:looking at honda tuning this month one of their feature articles is a civic hatch, i noticed it has a s2000 steering wheel, if it fits the hatch, should fit the 7thgen!!!

s2k wheel

i have an 02 civic ex coupe and i put an 02 s2k steering wheel on it and used my 'green board' of my cruise control buttons and it went in no prob, BUT since the S2K is SINGLE STAGE AIRBAG, you pretty much cant hook it up CORRECTLY cause the civic is a DUAL
STAGE airbag system and u could risk frying out relays and the SRS control unit. so im gonna sell it and get the rsx wheel. my email is allhondaparts@aol.com if any1 needs any 411. im a honda tech @ metro honda in NJ. L8R

Yes, that is true about the s2k wheel being a one stage and the civic being a two stage, BUT you can change out the connectors and then put a 2 ohm resistor on the yellow set of wires thus making the airbag think that it is connected correctly making the air bag work and the SRS light to turn off once reset.

And the S2k cruise control unit will work with proper modifcation.

Ive done it, so yeah...

so hang on, out of the s2k airbag is a red and yellow wire. ur saying to plug both of those into the 2 reds on my cars side? and to put a 2 ohm resistor on my yellow wires on my cars side? is that correct? also does it matter which of the airbags wires goes to my 2 red ones....
