should i get blacked headlights?
ok. . . i have silver motegi mr12's. . on a blue 20o1 civic im thinking of upgrading the stock headlights for projectors. . i particularly like the look of the tyc . i've seen some in black , gray , and chrome . i need advice on wat color to get. at first i thought get the gray one , then get it color matched to my cars paint job , but then i didnt wanna mess with perfectly good aftermarket parts. . i need helppp!!! anyone have a picture of a blue car with black projectors? ive tried to photoshop this , but the angles are all wrong , makes the car look crosseyed
heres a front pic of the DIY blacked out headlamps of my blue coupe 03.
i rather save the money and paint them myself then paying like $150 for projectors. and plus, problems can occur with them since their not perfectly made to perform as good as the good ol' stock headlamps.
flat black, non-gloss. 15min of time in between coats.
$4 of paint for this is well dam worth it..

looks better than projectors too. i had halo projectors, didn't like em much. i have em for sale though if you want. still in the box $110, no shipping cost.

i dont know about the blue, you'll get tired of it one day. Yes, the little small parking light bulb area is painted and NO, u do not have to scape any chrome off that i know of. it was all straight painted over with 3 coats. i used flat black on mine... would've went with glossy black but kragen over here didnt have it in stock at the time.
