need advice on shaved trunk
ok here is the deal, the spoiler has to go so as long as im doin that im gonna shave the trunk. here is what im debating over:
1. shave spoiler, H emblem, and key hole only
2. shave whole trunk completely and put a box not slanted or anything like this civic:
i might put it to one side or another, but im not a big fan of slanted plates
3. shave whole trunk completely and put plate in box in rear bumper (least likely because i dont wanna go through the whole process of the rear bumper being painted again)
what do you think would look best? im open to new suggestions too so please let me know what you think.

I say just get rid of your spoiler...id personally leave the key hole and the licence plate but thats just me....
Why not just buy a c/f trunk? Might be cheaper than shaving your spoiler, etc.

well i wouldnt be doing a slanted plate like i said. i would only be completly shaving the trunk and putting a level box in there for the plate just like it is in that civic i posted a pic of
and btw for anyone wondering, i can get this done for about $100 for the trunk to be shaved and $200 to repaint it, so it would defeniatly be cheaper and look way better than a CF trunk IMO. it will be about $500 or so if i wanted to put a box in the bumper and have all that repainted too.

i would rather have mine welded shut so it looks more smooth and that way i dont have to worry about the plugs falling out.
1.) It's you're car, do what you want.
2.) You're right, the slanted plate is the 1990 minitruck style. I guess I should of bought a truck then.
3.) I've seen two cars with this, and that's including mine.
4.) Do things cause you like them, not what other people like.
5.) Be unique.
I don't take comments to heart about the plate, especially when over half of them are from people that don't have the ***** to hack up their car.
I love the newer civics, and it's great when other civics roll up to me and try to race me, it's all about droppin' and draggin' =)

^Amen brotha!!!! In response to what someone asked earlier, the guy who did my bodywork cut out the part that held the license plate from an accord, and then molded that part into my rear bumper.
