**Check out the new ENGINE MODS on the M**
Check it out, I just installed my new 3.5" intake, 3.5" HFM, with Turner Motorsports software.
The HFM is basically an air meter, it came off of a 540, an upgrade from my stock 3" HFM.
My new software removes the speed limiter, creates a new air/fuel ratio for the 3.5" hfm, and also increased my rev-limiter to about 7200rpm, a 400 rpm difference.
The 3.5" HFM and Intake w/ chip, is one of the most significant source of power gains for the OBDI e36 M3. These pieces generally pump out about 25hp, about 20 to the wheels. These numbers aren't magizine numbers, they are actual dyno proven gains not from companies but from actual private individuals, meaning no trickery or lying here. I myself haven't had a chance to dyno my car, but from reading and researching many different tests and dynos on numerous e36 M3s, my car matched with my exhaust and new mods is estimated to be putting out around 265-270hp, around 225 to the wheels; stock hp is 240.
The HFM is the piece after the intake coupling
