The car came with Altezza tail lights, 18" white rims and tires, which the price went up with those add ons. The full price was $25 thousand and something dollars includes taxes and other fees, and the car was used with 4,025 miles on it. My down payment was $1,000. I have bad credit, and they said that is why I had to pay back so much. I really do regret getting this car because it also came with dents in the driver's side door which I didn't even notice because I was in a rush to get a car, and I didn't pay much attention to it. Everytime someone asks me how much I paid, and I tell them the truth, I get laughed at and they tell me the dealer really got me. I want to trade this car in to get a 2003, or 2004, but I have bad credit so I was told by the dealer I can't do it. Can someone tell me other options I have? Thanx.

Yeah I know they got me good and the other part is that I had to buy stock wheels, cause they did'nt have none to give me at that time.... I would like a 03 to pick a new color and this is stupid but because it comes with the nice si look a like stocks lol, to paint my car the same color its $2,300 and I would like 04 cause the same I would like a new color and because it brings the factory lip kit and fog lights and the new appearance of the civic.
dude i feel so bad for you. you should go steal a car off of hondas lot. or just do some insurance fraud. drive the car into a river. or leave it in a spot with the keys in he ignition and hope for the best!!

I was thinking about doing that and also having it strip and sold for parts. or maybe putting a forsale sign for $13,000 and with that money pay it off.
if you want to trade it in at a honda dealership for a new one, there is a chance they will be able to finance you. but... there are alot of variables involved.
1. credit history (obviously)
2. how long have you been employed at current job & how much you make
3. how long at current address (so they don't think you'll just move and ditch em)
4. how much of a down payment you put down (probably pretty important, so they think you are serious)
5.have you made attempts to clear up and make payments on other debts (if any)
each dealership is different so you'll have to go down and find out. but... don't expect
a low apr or payments that you want, both may be higher than expected. it's worth a try if your really want to, but don't expect anything. those are some of the things that come of the top of my head, but i'm sure there are other factors involved.
bankruptcy isn't the same today as it use to be. alot of people have lost their jobs at times, etc... and as long as you try to make good and show you are responsible by paying off your debts (so your credit score goes up) there's a good chance you might be able to pick up a new car. go down there and see what they can do, the worst they can say is no.

Yeah all that sounds good. Thanx a lot for your help and I appreciate it. But I very highly doubt I will get approved for financing once again. My credit score is horribly low, because one of my family members in the past took my SS# and used it for some crazy stuff, so I am basically screwed. Thanks though.

Umm... can't you file an identity fraud case against your family members that used your SSN in the past? I'm pretty sure you can do that, I know someone that's brother used his SSN for a while and accumulated a lot of debt and such, and they came after him to reap payment. It was a pretty lengthy process (took like 6 months to a year to do), but he got it all cleared up, and was not liable for the things his brother used his identity to buy. I know it sounds harsh, and may lead to some disagreement in your family because of bringing a case against them, but if you ever want to be relieved of the burden of bad credit, its something that you have to do. Bad credit will follow you for a long time, and make life harder on you. While it may seem a little extreme, I'd file charges against the family member. You will also get a new SSN once the process is complete.
