Bulbs and Gauges? Help me here!
Bulbs and Gauges? Help me here!
1st ? for ya'll... is there a such thing as an indiglo gauge for a 03 civic (DX) [No Tactometer] i have been lookin but i give up. people on this site always know everything. thanks for that. the 2nd question is... does anyone know what kinda bulbs i should get for my blinkers. i did the DIY headlight clearing however the freakin lights are still brown . they arent a true ultra bright white bulb. i went to kragen or where and they said they had nothing. LIL help would be tiiiiiiiight.. thanks. simple mods make a car sic! REMEMBER THAT..
1. I'm pretty sure they don't have indiglos for the DX, but there are several change your gauge/dash light color DIY's on here...I like them better for the most part.
2. The blinkers are 7443's
Parking lights are 194's
Headlights are H4's

Yup. If you're going for quality, I would highly recommend paying more for Japanese bulbs like Raybrig or Polarg. They will last much longer than crappy APC or pepboys brand store stuff.
Most websites now have a bulb section. This should get you started.

Also, I've seen bulbs on ebay that are chrome during the day (instead of blue), and light up super white at night. Don't know about the quality.

for the DX indiglos.. they don't make them, however.. you can do one of two things. change the bulbs to LED's in the gauge cluster, which i'm about to do, or do what i already did.. with the help of gearbox, buy an EX gauge cluster, about $50-80 on ebay, and replace the DX cluster. #1, looks much nicer, #2, nothing to change, just hook the new cluster in and it works. only bad part is the mileage being off.. which can be fixed, you need to ask a Honda dealership, or speedo calibration shop (i believe? correct me if i'm wrong anyone) i just left mine alone, and wrote down my old cluster mileage when changed, and new cluster.

Hey you just missed it. Look in my sig for all the info on blue gauge lights. Now I did my backlight with indiglo wire, but someone else did theirs in LEDs soon after. Hope you have fast internet, because their are tons of pics.
