hey i was wondering..wut do u guys set ur digital camera settings at when u take all these car pics at nite and during the day..i always try to make ,my pics look good but they nvr come out like some of these peoples pics on here

Damn. . . some of those "words" were painful to read. . . 
My digicam has a light meter I can use to raise or lower light levels in the frame. I can move around until I find the level I want, lock it in, then point back at my subject and take the picture.
That and using a digicam with a large-diameter lense means a greater potential aperature for gathering more light.

just depends on the lighting... for the day light... my shutter is open for a very short amount of time... then for night you want to leave it open longer depeding on the lighting around it....
for example....
this one is a night pic.. and instead of leaving my shutter open for the longest amount of time, i changed it to a lower setting as well as making sure the lights were not shining directly at my lence. THus, my G-ryde looks like its in a shadow or something like that...

now this one.... you want to leave your shutter speed open longer to let the cars driving by make a long streak of light

Plus.... just spend a lot of time with your cam to figure it out... and even though reading those stupid lil hand books may be boring they may help... or do searches on the web on digital camera pics and how they do them
