Well everyone here's my thoughts on this, I get a lot of heat and poor comments on having chrome rims which is fine. What I don't get is why someone takes the time to tell me it looks like sh*t? I personaly don't like spoilers or wings, but I'm not commenting on others rides talking trash. I give positive comments on rides I like and leave the others alone, it's called respect for someone else's creativity. If they want to spend money and time on what they like so be it, they drive it. I still can't figure why more people can't be mature about this. I would like to hear what others think about this issue.

i agree with you man.........even if i don't like someone elses ride, i just bite my tongue and i still say, looks good. For the most part, the ppl hatin on others like that are just immature IMO.

i don't really like chrome rims on a Civic.. i mean some look good, but too much work to keep em looking good. i like em on other peoples cars, but i wouldn't get em.. i wouldn't worry about the **** talkers. it's your car, enjoy it.

if you like them, then thats all that matters. Take those comments lightly becuase everyone has their own taste.

Take the good along with the bad. You posted the pics, now you need to deal with the criticism.

I agree as well, if there is something that I dont like personally then I dont say much and if someone asks my opinion then I say its not my thing but as long as they like its all that matters.

I like chrome rims on some cars, just depends on the car and the look they are going for.

Just ignore the Haters, I do.

There's a case where I would agree with you, but in this case, I don't. If we were talking about people walking up to you on the street and saying your rims looked like ***, I'd say they should've bitten their tongue. With this situation, however, it's different. People put those pics online with full knowledge that they're going to be judged. You put your car up to be judged and people didn't like what you'd done to the car. That's life. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

As for what you said as a comment on your own pic about how those people who rate other cars poorly never post their own, my car is available through my "My Ride" tab. If you don't like it, feel free to say so. If you like it, feel free to say so.

I agree with most that's been said...if you are going to post it up, you get compliments and you get criticism, what's the big deal? There is a BIG difference between you just not liking the criticism you get, and people actually being disrespectful. If you are extremely touchy and sensitive, then maybe you shouldn't post pics. If someone is actually being mean and hostile, then contact administration.

For the most part I have not seen people say rude things on this site, seems like you just didn't like what you heard. Sorry! People tell me to lower my car, but they don't travel my roads and are not paying for my 2 bent rims so you just gotta let it roll off your back

People post pics of their car and write things like "comments welcome" and "tell me what you think".

If you don't want people to rate or pass judgement on your car don't post pics of it asking people what they think.

^ I agree. Many people take comments like "your car sucks" or "that $h!t is fugly" as being synonymous with "I hate you and hope you die." Maturity would be the ability to disregard comments they don't wanna hear.

LOL, The way I see it is if you post your pics then you are saying hey check out my ride and tell me what you think.

If you just think that everyone will automaticly say your car is dope then you are wrong.

THey are Critiquing your ride. If they say its dope then take it... if they say "um no, sorry , try again" then take that as well.

they are just comments. and like it was stated b 4. diff people have diff taste and thats just they way it is. some people like altezza's even though they know half the world thinks they are guy

#1 priority is, ITS YOUR CAR, do with it as you wish and dont think about what other think.
#2 PRiority is, to not ever give a shat what other people think (of course if they think your car is dope, that always helps) but if they dont, dont let it hurt your pride.

I think most are taking this wrong I'm open to comments, and was using my situation as an example, not a complaint. I was just thinking alot of users spend more time replying about stuff they don't like and less time complimenting others. I wanted to get a general idea of the community, not feedback on myself.
