Rep Power: 291 Whats enough to show in a car show?
lets hear it cuz i kno a lot of people are always like i dont have enough to show but what is enough to show tho. is that a kit, rims, suspension, system, engine built........ whats are somethings that are musts to show. Im guessing rims is always a must. besides that, everything can be debatable. Whats you opinion on what you would say are must to show in a car show, or at least what you go to a car show to see.

Rep Power: 0 Ferrari Enzo... Thats a good show car... Make your civic like that IMO
Rims... Bodykit, System, Interior?
A lot of people enter shows with just rims and a drop, all about experience and fun right? Not always competition

Rep Power: 297 Sometimes its just about a bunch of friends having a good time and having fun.
It depends if your in the show to win or just have fun. If your in it to win you gotta have lots of **** and sometimes have it crazy and different.
I dont mod my car for a "show" I mod it for me. Even though I do particiapte in the shows, I could care less if I lose. Winning is nice but I would rather have my car the way I want it.

Rep Power: 268 ok, a few tips on how to "show well"
mods arent a hudge deal, hence why there are diffrent class's. what does matter is how were the mods done? do they look sloppy? is it original? is it custom? do the mods work together? two of the biggest things judged on these days is cleaness, and display... ive seend ugly *** cars place top 3 just because they were spotless, and had a few mods and a bad *** display...... to get alot of attention at hinbe clean moded how ever much and have a dope display

Rep Power: 0 from my experience of going to car shows such as hin and other various ones, the engine is the least of a show car's worries. people at these car shows either don't pop the hood at all, or put a little spring to hold it up alittle, but not enough to see in.

Rep Power: 294 it depends. there are different classes wild, mild, extreme.
rims, body kit, system is not going to cut it. Judges want to see a display around your car, engine mods, the flow or theme of your car inside and out. they want to see TV's, they want to see rims at least 18", they want custom interior either racing seats, or full interior swaps, fiberglass or painted interiors. they want neons(dont agree) but they look for that. they check how clean your car is, engine wheel wells, if your rims are scuffed or dirty. there is alot of stuff to go by
here is a link to the 2004 NCCA judging sheet page 20 is the actuall sheet the rest is the rule book

Rep Power: 0 If you want to win, most cars have to be usually ricey. But to have a high quality show car that people will like are rims, unique kit, engine upgrades(atleast headers n intake) with the dressup, headunit, indash tv, system, interior mods, and also suspension of course.

Rep Power: 294 You can enter with pretty much wutever u want. You might get a few looks, but if it's for fun then go for it. but pleeeaaase lose the wing, it looks extremely tacky, to the point where it won't be fun for u to enter anymore.

Rep Power: 304 i got 11 grand into my car and i cant win here. the cars here in fla are fukin gorgeous. fiberglass interior the whole 9 yards. makes me look like a stock neon. i just go to shows to have fun and showoff my car and what ive done to it. i would like to win but here in fla its hard. ill need about another 10 grand just to get into the 2-3rd place spots.
heres some cars i compete with i see on a daily basis here in fla at the shows. these cars are not daily drivers while i am so its even harder for me to keep my car extra clean. these cars im showin have well over 30 grand into them.
