I was going to put a block guard in to stop the walls from moving. And I know people who run 23 psi on a d15 block w/out sleeves.....man this crap is getting expensive.

the will more than likely still split, and the stock rods might hold 15psi for a week of light driving but after that, they are going to snap when ur doing the 15 psi and the piston and rod both are going to be in ur oil pan, if ur going to take the time to tear the motor down, sleeve it, dont waste time with a blockguard, bc if ur walls crack that coolant is going to touch those hot pistons and make them expand into the walls and then ull have to buy new pistons ERL is a good company to use for sleeves, and they are in INDIANA

to me
BLOCKGUARD=PROLONGING THE INEVITABLE

Im starting to consider not running over 10 PSI, dave just estimated the block @12 psi.......man and I ran 13 for a while. Im sick of trying to build this motor Ive allready got over $5000 in it........and Ill never reach my 400 HP goal.
