I have a 1988 Honda Accord Sedan (as you may have noticed) and I just might get a pair of seats from Cryption from his 7thgen (the stock ones). He got some new Celica GT seats somethin or other.

My question is: You think if I took out my old seats, would a 7thgen seat fit in the same holes as mine or would I have to wing it and drill new holes?

I mean they're both Hondas, so the worst that can happen is slight alignment misfit.


Advice would be appreciated.

Fact is, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference....the 7thgen seats are quite comfy though.

Yes, and that's why I want them. But Cryption's Celica GT seats are even lower than the stock seats of the civic. and quite nice too, bucket seats and all.

i doubt it will fit. you will have to do some modding cuz i tried brackets for a92-95 civic and it didnt fit right in the 7th gen.

I would imagine that in like 14 years, Honda changed the seat brackets and mounting points. Just go ahead and drill those babies.
