Whats the piping size? Did you modify the whole cat back or just the axel back? If its a 2.25 inch catback that that would make a good sleeper look. Plus you should be able to get them cheap from all the WRX guys upgrading their exhaust.
Yea it still has stock piping and its hardly louder than stock. With full piping it would produce a smooth deep tone. The pics make the tips look like there farther out(angle i took the pics at). It was done for the sleeper look but it still sounds stock so im pending a trade with another member.
yea its just a muffler. Is there a problem with that eh.... You think having the piping done would actually make a difference because it wont. My engine is stock and putting big *** piping would just hurt the low end.

Oh and for having a full catback, yes it will make a difference. Not a bunch because the rest is stock, but it will help. I guess when you have one you will notice it. But to each is there own.
Take a look around the site alittle bit more before you put down doing mods because "its hopeless for our D17s." Hell Fly make 10whp with just an CAI and a Catback.

i used to have 2.25 piping and a magnaflow on my old 02 coupe and i could hardly tell a difference except for the sound. Im just waiting to do 3in for a turbo setup not worth spending money to buy a 2.25 then just replace it in a couple of months.
