Check it out! I'm finally done and it came out really nice. There's a DIY in tech and it's sticky if you need more info.

The moonroof and other buttons are gonna need like 7 LEDs for consistant lighting. I spent hours trying to wire it and ended up taking everything back out. I'm just gonna forget it for now.
Impulse--I almost did white, but the way my gauges are I would have had green P,R,N,D letters. The blue covers it up. White would look sweet if you do it. I saw LEDs at radioshack for $5 each! blue $4.

It's not as hard as it looks, and the DIY explains it pretty well. There was no way to do the moonroof area, since there's no clearance. It still looks good without it lit. I must say that this is one of the most time-consuming and expensive DIYs I've done (and probably my last).

You're lucky cause red leds are really cheap compared to blue. I actually used red taillight lens repair tape for the dash a while back and it was really nice and bright. This is due to incandescent light putting out a higher intensity of red/yellow light.
I also have five red #74 gauge cluster bulbs to change the backlight. Let me know if you want them.
