from my knoledge, no one has done the rears on a sedan, i was wondering if any one was going to do a tsx to sedan...
i have the seats, the rear lower bench fits in, but its like half a inch too small on the sides but fit fine, nothing you wouldn't notice.. the rear uppers i have to modify...

Yes, I would like to know too!!!! does anyone know what steps you have to take in order to make the rear rsx seats to fit a sedan?!?!? I could be getting a great deal on the front and rear leather seats, but I would like to know first if they would fit with some minor modifcation?

i just saw a sedan and the rear seats will fit, you wil just have to modify the seats like hondaworks ride, i am almost finished with the rear uppers, all i need is to cut thefoam, wrap the seats and weld the brackets in. it looks like the rear sedan seats are the same width as coupe seats, so my thinking of how cheap honda, they should fit if you modify them. the only think is you need the brackts for them to fold. the only thing is that the rear sides will need to be redone....

they will fit.. but the steel is such a heavy gauge u need a professional or a welder to cut em.. and weld off the safety brackette. then weld on the bar so it snaps in...that costs 90-150$
next step cut foam=easy 5 min ordeal....
cut leather at angle in corner and then fold it back. maybe sew w/ nylong thread or even easier use velcro....=10$max
next make a 50/50 fit a 60/40....
either remove 40% brackette and weld seats together....
keep brackette cut into seat and weld together....
the corner bolts wont go cause our seats have the "pin" in the RSX the pin is in car and seats have the "hole"
so u can get seats cut, shaped, restitched and remove brackette but then how r they gonna fold?
they arent....
to install the "locking" brackette its gonna be a bitch to line up and even when it does they wotn be able to fold so why waste time... ur gonna ahve to perma install them so who cares about un latching them
all together it would cost 270$ for me to mod the seats and i would still need to sew some bolster covers which woudlnt just be leather u'd have to soft back them=60-80$
then the door panels would be approx 50$ in leather
so for me it seemed cheaper to do katzkin cause they can make me perferated centers w/ reg sides, bolsters, and door panels for like.....300-350

install of katzkin is a breeze...

see, thats y i was thinking of putting it on since its a steal. O yea, its the tan color, so thats another thing holding me back, lol. I think im just gonna ask this guy to get me some OEM leather seats from a sedan, to make everything easier, lol. Katzkin charges only 50$ for the leather door panels?

but, rsx leather is way better, i was quoted something like 400 just to redo my rear seats with the same leather that the rsx seat were made out of, in the long run, if you want the rsx seats its better. you can cut all of the metal off the sides with a dremel, just go get a dremel called "Dremel" that is supposly the best one out there...
