My Ride updated now with pics of my rims (Rota Slipstreams)
I took some pics today. Everyone said I needed shots of my car that weren't just under the hood, so I took some.

I don't like going "well my speedo says I'm going 60 but I'm really going 57.3954mph."
I also don't like going "yay, look at me accelerate slower than with my stock wheels cuz I have heavy wheels."

I couldn't afford 16" 11lbs rims. But even so, rim size affects acceleration just like weight does.Anyway, I know most of you like the big rim low profile tire look, and I agree it looks better, but it's not what I was going for. I like function over form, for the most part.
So, everyone's entitled to their opinion. I like my new rims and tires.
im not trying to be a little **** but i dont understand why you got 15's. if i were you i would have gotten 16's looks better and you could still have the same readings on your speedometer, just change the tires size. are you planning on auto-xing the car or dragging it, it doesnt look like it cause its a four door(not hating just trying to prove my point), so why not the 16's. oh and for the weight issue i think rotas in 16's are like half a pound more than the 15's. just stating my opinion. but its your wheels right? so props to you.
Im not tryin to hate at all, you should be excited about your new purchase...but 16" rims, or 17" rims arent gonna hurt your acceleration time that much. I had 17's on my car with CAI and exhaust and i was knockin off high 15's which i believe is better than most people can say with smaller rims, and more upgrades. The point is, its not gonna affect you that much. And to be going 60mph, and read 57.3985 or whatever, you would have to have like 20" rims with huge fat tires, and so on. My 205/40 17's were a little under 4% off. So i would have to go 100mph to have my speedo off almost 4mph. At 60 i was a little over 2mph slower...if you have a problem with that, then i would recommend getting an Apex'i Rev Speed Meter, cause at high rpms you tach is way off, and you speedo is off at higher speeds too. Get a Speed Meter and see what im talkin about.

You suck
Those rims look so nice and they don't weight hardly anything. And for all those saying get 16' rims, they don't look that much bigger. Getting 17s would show a difference, but not one size. I know you're not into looks that much, but getting a matching trunk trim and shaving emblems would look much better with the rims. That and cleared headlights. Just an idea.
