Rep Power: 0 I drive a manual. Sometimes it's fun and sometimes it's too much of a chore.
I do a lot of stop and go each way to work, and it gets to be tedious.
I still debate whether my next vehicle will be manual.
I have a real love/hate relationship with the stick shift right now.
I think if my civic actually looked and felt more sporty, I would enjoy the shifter more.

Rep Power: 306 I have auto and have done a lot of mods as well. Like everyone else, no real engine mods, but im mostly going for show. All of us know are civics arent exactly "fast". If anything, I'll put an intake and a rear section for sound. Thats about it though. Maybe in the fuuuuuuuttuuuuuurreeeee ill be boostin it.

But honestly, if you know how to manipulate the VTEC we have, you could make this car dip through traffic.
I do it on a daily basis, hope I'm not f-ing up the tranny.

Rep Power: 351 i have never had an automatic car... i drove one for my drivers test and when i got home that day my dad gave me my moms old car which was stick and since that day i have barely driven an auto... and when i do, i try to find the clutch or i put the e-brake on... just wierd... almost broke prototypes car last weekend cuz i forgot there was no clutch so i ended up hitting the brake instead... lmao... yea, he wasnt too happy... i think they are slower (same hp and stuff, i just find em SLOWER) and i think they are quite boring... in the morning on the way to work id love to have one so i can just chill and drink my coffee and stuff or when im in traffic and ****... but otherwise i love stick... plus its cool when a guy says "YOU drive stick?!" <~~~ HELLZ YEA BABY!

manual transmission is so much better. you are in control of your power. automatics, all u do is punch the better, and let the torque converter do all ur easy shifting. what *******. if ur gonna get an automatic, why bother racing it?
