Position Radar Detector
i got a radar... it where most of emm are.. on the windshield... would it make a difference if i put it around my console area? sumplace thats not gonna be near a clear window.. cus i heard all it catches are electrical waves.. so it wouldnt matter where u put ur radar... is this true?????

Rep Power: 347 I don't think it would matter, I see a lot of them sitting on the dash right by the window....there used to be a DIY on this site about integrating the detector into your car somewhere......

i kept mine on the console and on the window and made no difference.....i still got tickets!! lol (j/k) but uh actually my radar worked the same on the console and windshield!!

Rep Power: 468 this is the DIY but it says for EX only!!Hard wiring!
I hardwired mine into the reading lights in my car, mines LX, almost exact same as the EX hardwiring... I have mine sittin right above my rear view mirror, great spot I think
