Question Intake Install W/O moving battery
is there a short ram intake for our civics where we wouldnt have to move to battery once installed?

look in my ride ...i gotta short ram and didn't have to move my battery? Are you tlaking about Cold Air Intake?

no i dunt want a cold air intake becuase ive heard ALOT of bad crap from it.. like water got sucked into it.. messed up engine.. all that bad stuff.. but ima check out ur intake

i think they got like a bypass valve or something to stop things like that from happeneing but in houston sometimes it floods so yea if your car is lowered that it prolly won't be a good idea!!

i got mine for free from a friend hehehe!!! And yea it gave it that little grrrrr and whoosh everytime i step on the gas !! you can hear it when ya hit that gas it goes ...whooshhh!!!! lol i love that sound!! Pretty damm loud to!!

edit: cheaper to get online though!! maybe at like ebay or something!!

why would someone have to move the battery for the shortram, afraid it would suck up the battery when you hit VTEC?

As far as I know, if you use an AEM SR Intake or a K&N Typhoon SR Intake, then you do not have to move the battery. I am not sure about other brands. On my AEM SR Intake installation, all I had to do is take out the two stock air boxes and some clamps and clips.
