2003 Civic LX
2003 Civic LX
i got my 2 dr 2003 Civic LX about a month and a half ago. i don't really have any money to do any mods right now, but i do have one concern. it is an LX and not EX. being my 1st car, i just couldn't go as expensive as the EX no matter what i did. i guess my point is- is it considered acceptable to do stuff to my civic if it's an LX? i don't want to get all of this stuff done to my car and then people saying, "yeah, but it's an LX so it's stupid." i'm just looking for some input from the other members cuz i'm curious. it would also be nice to hear from some fellow LX owners. thanks.

Do whatever you want to it. You make it sound like an EX is so much better... it isn't. Whoopdy doo... 12 HP. Who cares. Do whatever you like as long as it doesn't involve LED washer nozzles, excessive yellow stuff or uniwipers.

Trim model shouldn't make a difference... especially when the difference is a mere 12hp. I have an '03 LX coupe and I'm faster then my buddies '02 Si (EX model in the States) Coupe.
Do me a favor and smack the person that told you an LX is stupid lol. At first I wanted an Ex, but just for the moonroof but because of my situation, I couldnt get one. I don't regret it, because I see nothing but EX's lately. And As far as the EX being 12 mph, It might be. But my friend and I just raced about a mile (her EX & my LX) and I actually came out a carlength ahead of her. I thought it was just luck, but I've heard the EX is actually slower....so I'm not sure. Anyways, ignore those idiots, do what you want!
