Allrighty guys, I just got my Momo Sphere leather in the mail a few days ago so I decided to do some minor modifications to go along with the new shifter.
Got pics too, here ya go...

...yea so I cut out those crappy plastic tabs that make the boot stick up & look stupid, with a dremel drill, looks much better now. Then I needed something to attatch the boot to the ****. So I decided to stop by good ole Home Depot, I was looking for a donut ring to go around the shift rod kinda like the new JDM ITRs(I think thats where I saw it), but no dice. I did find what is called a pipe nipple...hehe...in the plumming section that does the job perfectly. I just attached it with a zip tie the same way as the stock one, I was going to put a rubber grommet under it to keep it up, but I kinda like how it hangs down & exposes about an inch of the shift rod. Im not done yet though, I want to get a REVO SS(got the DC adapter for now) & then get a new boot, cuz I still dont like how the stock one hangs.
What do yall think??

Yea, I think it would look alot better it I had a better boot because the stock boot is still trying bend back to the way it was stock, so it makes it all rinkly. It looks much better tied to the ring around the rod than just sitting there flopping around. What im trying ot do with it is like this
With a little of the rod showing, or maybee not. Ill prolly be getting that boot pretty soon too, its pretty cheap.
Oh yea the pics dont sdo it justice at all, it looks MUCH better in person. The little nipple from home dopot that I tied the boot to that hangs off the rod matches the **** perfectly, but you can barely see it in the pic. Ill try to get beter pics later with my bros camera.

I've got the **** and the boot... you remove the finisher on the bottom of the **** and there is a threaded collar in the boot that it screws into. Its a bitch to put together because you need to screw the boot on, then re-assemble the console (squeeze up from underneath)... but it looks real clean.
