i got some rear brakes!!!
I just got them installed, i got them for a really good price, the only thing is that i have to buy a new rear controler arm.
i love them, my car stops alot better, the things i needed were calipers, discs, spindle, rear arms and brake cables off a si, and some brake fluid to bleed them. i didn't install them. a shop installed them.
They are in my members ride...
uploaded already... more pics down here...

I'm reeeeaally curious how that affects the stock brake balance.
EDIT: I say that because if I had to brake hard, I would not want the rear wheels to stop so fast to the point that all it does is cause the rear of the car to slide. If you don't know what I mean, slam on your brakes and throw the e-brake up.

if the fronts slip the ABS will take ova... i have a ex so my car is compatiable with abs... it stops alot better and smoother, less pressure on the pedal for the force to stop faster...
trust me i love it... muahaha

I have an EX too but even with the stock brakes my rear would slide. But now that I think about it I think that's probably cuz I had shitty rubber/bad rear camber angle. Well, to say the least from that I know the rear brakes are working, lol.
I don't doubt you one bit your car stops better, but the brake balance is very important front vs. rear in more situations than just coming to a normal stop at a light. I just have to wonder how much it would affect the balance negatively/positively in more than one situation.

nice... but.. you never said how much???
you should but some brembos on all the wheels now, with some SEMI-METALLIC Brake Pads, and you are set!
paint the calipers if you want....but paint them black IMO looks best

i dont think it would affect that much since all the weight still tranferd to the front and most of the weight is ther, and it's not like out rear drums have all that much stoping power.....
rear disc brakes wouldn't do any harm...

Some questions -
1. How much
2. Did you get any sort of proportioning valve? I heard that you need that so your front's don't lose power
3. what about the e-brake?

i paid 250 from a guy who did a 5 lug conversion on his 02 si.
labor was a bill.
no i didn't need a proportioningvalve. the car use to tilt forward when i braked hard, now it stops evenly. i didn't loose any power, they work even better now
the ebrake is built into the caliper, they are off a si so their ebrake connects to the caliper.
what you have to do it unplug the abs cable and the brake lines.
detach the lower trailing arm. which holds the drum on.
take out the rear section of the brake cable which runs under the car and into the center councle in ur car.
you disconnect the old brake cable where it hooks up, that is inside the car(center cousel).
hook up the rsx or si one(same thing)
put the new si trailing arm with the spindle.
put on the discs then the calipers and hook up all the brake cables.
then bleed.

Just so everyone knows - you don't need the rear control arms (they are the same according to majestic honda's website)......I don't know why some of you said that you do.....
