Installed my Crimestopper alarm.
Welp I am tired. It took me 4 times longer to install this stuff than I thought it would.
DEI Immoblizer bypass
Accord Trunk Popper
Crimestopper CS 2011 RS Alarm
Hella Supertone Horns
Pretty much sucked hard putting all this stuff in. I understand electronics but that really in no way gave me much confidence as I am having to hack the heck out of my electrical system.
Notes:
Hella Supertone was major letdown for me, don't get me wrong they look great, but frankly $20.00 air horns are louder. (I just installed air horns last weekend in neibors car).
Front bumper really does come off easy as heck.
I never could find the +power parking light connector in the back of the fusebox, -power parking light connecter in the factory plug seems to work great.
7th gen uses negative door triggering
DEI 555i is scary as hell to install, but it works like a champ.
By wiring both doors and trunk switches together in the alarm connector my "Open Trunk" indicator now lights on when a door is open. Kinda of a pet peeve I had not knowing if my passenger fully closed their door. A diode would correct this, but I find this to be a plus.
There must be a secondary ACC connection for our car, the wire guide I looked at "TechWeb" did not list it, but when remote-starting the radio does not come on. I find this to be a benefit.
Their really is not many places I could find to install the brain, I settled for the spot by OBD connector in the center console.
Welp good luck on your project.
