how much did the 240 cost you?
it's so difficult to find a decent one here, my friend got one a few months back, and it already threw a bearing, but he has the sr sitting in his garage ready to go
now you just need a 200sx, 280z and a 300zx

I bought the 240 with 5 speed because its my project car and will end up being a 5 speed redtop SR20DET SilEIghty when Im done, and will be in quite a few shows in teh CHicago area since there are never any around here in the shows and i thought it would be cool to have something to show that no one else really ever does.

Car was 1500, plus 224 for licence, document fees, title transfer, state tax and processing fees (****in expensive DMV bullshyt.). 25 for a quick oil change, 68 bucks at autozone for fresh headlights, wiper blades, air filter, and a fues kit just in case.... So as it sits in my driveway right now, just about 1800 or so.....
I dont know how its so difficult for you to find one. Every decent one i was finding seemed to be Georgia, Florida, and Texas. I just got lucky as hell to find this one when i did.
Sorry, no more cars for a while, still gotta Z to pay off....

my friend paid 3000 for his, and it's pretty much rusted here and there, faded paint, dent and such. the motor burn oil (and he never bothered putting more oil in it, since he said he doesn't care for the motor, that's what caused the dead bearing) it was decent, but your deal definitly toped his by a lot

I know it is far away for you, but there is a shop down here in Dallas I forget the name but I can get it for you later. They well known for their silvia swaps. I think I remember an SR20 would be around $5k, with a custom turbo manifold. S13's and S14's are around $6k to $7k. They also do alot of work one imprezzas. Last time I was in there they had two in the shop working on them. One was in Feb. issue of Sport Compact Car. They are also have 3 mechanics on Team Subura in the World Ralley championships. Two weird combos for a shop being Nissan and Subaru specialists.
