my 7th gen civic may be going bye bye
I have only had it for 9 months and it may be going bye bye. I found my dream car today. It's a 2000 civic si!!!!!!!!! I know it's kinda going backwards but very much worth it for dohc vtec. I'm so excited. i may have as soon as monday. If i do i will post some pics. Anyone got some suggestions on what to do first??
yeah i agree with it bein quick i never drove one before till now and I almost crapped my pants. The only thing i don't like about it is the giant spoiler. it's the high stcok one but god it's ugly. I am planning on droppin a turbo on it. i am all about conserving weight too. very very light stereo for me.
I promise it will not be subjected to rice. i swear. no altezzasor anything

Yeah I wish I could have gotten a 99-00 SI. Those are the best civics. But even regular used civics are only a couple thousand cheaper than a new car. I had to get new. Good luck, though. You're getting an awesome car. That thing will kill all with a turbo or supercharger.
I agree about the stolen thing. However I am an alarm guru so i will be making sure that the only way this car leaves is with a tow truck. I all about a turbo on that car. Anyone got some ideas for a custom license plate??
hey dat was a good choice man. lowering would be good for first mod (progress group makes one of the best coiloverz), then bolt-ons(intake, exhaust, headers etc), get good rubber and if u want all performance, 15s r good or 16s if u want big rotors, and then go to the turbo(u should check out GReddy for turbos). if u want light, get off the fancy stuff and subs and get a carbon fiber hood and light racin seats like recaros. u can take off the spoiler and bring it to a shop to mold fiberglass over the holes from it. if u get a turbo, then make sho u replace alot of parts (intercooler, radiator, intake manifold, fuel injection, turbo timer, boost controller, blow-off valve). jus gettin a turbo wunt do much and u wunt be able to control the boost of ur turbo. well if datz mah suggestions. ur one lucky guy to hav a 99-00 civic si.......well good luck and get rid of dat slow 7thgencivic dat we all hav!

it would be about 800 bucks to ship it from OH to CA....
4 BIZL is pretty funny. A 99-00 Si is actually what I wanted, but it's nearly impossible to find one for cheap around here. Even with high miles (80k) they go for around 10 g's. This was the main reason I got my 03, slower yes, but I still like it.
Congrats on the new ride man, it's going to be sweet once that thing is boosted.

thanks guys. I have already checked out club si.com Butto give you guys an update I will be keeping my 7th gen as my dailydriver till i can sell it. I will still hang out on the forums and show you guys the pics ok. They wanted me to put a lot of money dwon but I said screw it i will just buy it outright and sell my lx to someone. So I fiugred out i have about 1100 bux to dropon the si as of monday evening. I can't wait to get it. all I can think about is that damn car.
