i got an accident today..@#%$@#$

i got my brand new civic about an week ago..or less
but i got an accident today..
actually im learning to drive stick..
when i stopped at the hill (very gentle one), i saw a car coming behind me..
when i started, i got stalled and boom..
he hit my ***..omg..
his car had no damage..
but mine did..
my rear bumper has a crack now..its broken..
i called police and report the accident and got his info.
i have to go to the dealer with my broken bumper and estimate how much is needed..
it doesnt really matter since hes gonna pay everything..
but since its a damn new car..and my first car..
im so pissed off now..
i become bs everytime i think about that moment..which is every 3 minutes..
fuucken ****..i hope this is one of my nightmare..

question..
if i got it fixed..after change the whole rear bumper..
is there gonna anything noticable on my car?
since its brand new car..i dont really think its gonna be..
is it possible that my car become worse than before by the shock when his car hit mine's back?
im worried if any engine or transmission or that kinda stuff were shaken and shocked before they broke-in by the shock..
it really worries me..cuz my car is like..damn..word cant describe my mind..

better of than I was....had the car for 2 weeks and someone side swipped me from front; did $7000 damage to front, including new radiator, fan, hood, lights, side fenders, many things. Not enough damage to total the car. Talk about the price value of a brand new car going to mother ****in ****!! Yeah it sucks, but not as bad as mine was fella.

Still sorry to hear bout it.

Oh yeah, I would have got aftermarket ****, but I had just got the damn car and all I wanted was to have it back. Didnt want to shop around for ****.

You;ll find a little sticker on the top of the rear bumper where it meets the trunk... its got your car's VIN# on it -- look around, just about every panel on your Civic has that.

If you look at a Civic thats had a body part replaced, it won't have a sticker on it. Its a sure sign that something is up...

If you get your rear bumper replaced, it won't have that tag, and someone who knows what to look for will know the bumper has been replaced.

Then again, if you repair the bumper, the sticker remains.

Just an FYI...

RedDragon333 will become famous soon enough
Your engine and stuff should be fine and if all that was damaged was the bumper you get a great shop to color match and youll be set. Since the car is only two weeks old they wont really need to do any color blending. Youll be fine.

Take the car to a dealer and have them paint it. They can perfectly match it to your factory paint. If you take it to a bodyshop, they will overspray the bumper onto your fenders and trunk. They do this because they cannot match the colors perfectly. They call it blending. I call it CRAP. Have Honda do it, they will do it right.

Minor fender accidents are better when your car is new. This is because since your paint is new, it is easier to match the factory color ...don't have to account for fade, etc.

The bodyshop will paint it, but the bodyshop should have access to the color code so they can get the correct mixture. Better to have the dealer panit it.

As far as resale value, most cars get minor fendor accidents, it shouldn't change at all. The only accidents that screw up the resale value are if your car gets a salvaged title.

i went to bodyshop today..
actually i called honda dealer first but they said they dont do a body stuff..as i said before..
they recommended this body shop and this body shop is where the dealer use for body repair stuff..
so i went to the bodyshop and a guy at there estimated my car's damage..it ended up with 598.21 for changing whole bumper, a foam inside the bumper, bumper clips, paint materials, clear coat, and labor fee..it doesnt matter how the price is cuz im not paying it..
i hope it comes back as same as the day i got it..
the guy said they have to order a rear bumper from the dealer and they will paint it..he said tomorrow or the day after tomorrow i can get the car back..and he also said not to polish or wax the car until 60 days after i got it back..but wash and soap things are okay he said..
damn..i never thought this thing would happen to me..
it was only 5days after i got my car..
