Just Gonna turbo Charge any suggestions?

I haven't done anything to my car yet and it will still be a while yet, but I am just going to save for a turbo to put on my 01 Ex 5 speed, all my friends with their 13 second f-bodies say it is a waste, but I say that me spending so much on small things now would be more so. Any suggestions on how to get the engine ready for a turbo and what to use to back it up while under boost?

2k187-

I don't have a civic but I am in the process of turboing my miata. So good things to do to get it producing a high amount of boost with out messing up the motor is to add a high flow fuel pump, bigger injectors, add a stage 2 or 3 clutch and lighten the flywheel (if it is manual). Also you are gonna need a timing unit to retard or advance the timeing so you don't detonate. You are gonna want colder spark plugs and some better plug wires. Depending on the miles of your car and how good of a condtion your motor is you might want to build the motor for more power.

Hope that helps you out.

Depending on how much boost you plan on using I would suggest pistons, sleeving block, porting, injectors. That's if you plan to boost upwards 10psi. Just get SF turbo kit solves all the problems

Yeah, don't waste money on small mods that don't do anything. Also, adding a turbo will void your warrenty... that's why I'm waiting.
