If it's an aftermarket kit, you'll probably want an experienced installer do the job. . .if it's OEM, it'll bolt right up and stick with the included 3M tape.

Which kit did you get?

i searched earlier, and there was no diy for the kit install....i looked at some old posts, and someone (forgot who) made a diy for it, but it wouldn't load. said the page wasn't found. i jsut want to know if i would be able to do it without f**kin it up....both the kit and the car....and my car is lowered...will i have to adjust the coils too?

Shouldn't have to adjust your ride height unless you're already slammed, as it is. I DO know that with that front lip sticking out a little further, you car will be a bit more prone to scraping if you come down a driveway ramp straight onto the street.

I recall one of my friends who had the K lip kit installed, and aside from 3M tape, it was a matter of screws in the wheelwells and into the front a rear bumpers underneath. If all else fails, just swing by a shop that does that sort of thing, batt your eyes at someone and ask for some tips. lol

see..now here is the thing....ive asked everyone around my neighborhood to help me out...all the guys have done this before, but they all say the same thing..."yeah steph i'll help ya..." and then their stupid girls come out of the house and get all pissy and then the guys won't help me. its not like i want to f**k them or anything....i just need some freakin help with my kit....i mean COME ON!!! (OT, but very nice to rant..)

ok anyways...so i should be ok if i do it myself, without any help from any stupid boys? i guess i will do it tomorrow....cant do it now, cuz its too late and bein drunk with tools just doesn't seem like the smart thing to do...

Hell. . . I've got the coolest girlfriend, ever. She's studying to become an expert in bodywork, and she just finished a steering, brakes, and suspension course. I are a lucky dood.

But, to answer your question. . . uhm. Yeah, 3M tape, screws, and another set of hands are essential. Just bribe one of the guys' girlfriends with something girly to keep her occupied while you guys work on the kit. Or better yet, get the girlfriend involved.

i've tried to get her involved...hell she used to have an integra! granted, it wasn't in the best shape, but it had rims, exhaust, kit, etc. this girl just gets so pissed when i even ask him a question. like the other day, i just asked him what shop he went to to get his stuff done on his old honda....thats it...and she threw a fit. he was in the middle of the street, i was on the sidewalk, about 5 feet away, and she got mad about that. she's a psycho, and i don't want her anywhere near my car.....who knows what she will do...the stupid wenchhead....

i think im just gonna take the kit to this guy i know...hopefully he will put it on, or i can put it on, and he can help, or i give him alcohol, and he puts it on, something like that....whatever...

yeah i know derrick...he wants my body . jk...i thought that he only has the front, he doesn't have the sides and rear of his kit yet. and that it still needs to get painted. and besides, he lives soo faaarrrr away from me....i don't wanna drive forever just to get the kit on...i think i will talk to my friend, who bailed yet again, to see if he knows anyone that isn't flaky to put it on.

but thanks for the suggestion, tho. 'preciate it.
