they are running off the 5 channel amp.
the amp is rated at 460 (35 x 4 + 320 x 1)watts RMS but the bench test sheet that came with the amp puts it at 734 watts RMS

Those subs are VERY under-powered. Those are dual 4 ohms right? You probley have it bridged at 2 ohms, so thats about 175 watts rms a peice. Have you thought about getting a seperate amp for your subs? Mtx is a very respectable brand, and they make awesome quality amps. Id reccomend a mtx 500d for those 2 subs.

they are getting about 250 a piece when i got the guy at work to test them. they can handle 300 watts but i'm not prepared to dish out the cash right now. in the future i'll go with 2 amps like i used to have but this will do for this year

i did the whole thing with the aim of having enough room for 1 set of golf clubs. i have another piece of carpeted wood that covers the plexiglass so it doesn't get scratched
