underground neons??

All my bulbs look great under the car, but my front bulb, there seems to be only one place to put it....the plastic right under the front bumper, behind that is the engine and ****. The problem is the bulb is visible.....any suggestions on where to put the front bulb so you can't see it

I took of the plastic piece when I put on my bodykit and mounted the front bulb to the frame. I drilled three holes into the frame and used wire ties to hold the bulb. You can only see my bulb if you look directly down onto the bottom part of the kit. Here is a picPic,

If your not signed up onto car and model, you will need to do that first before looking at the pic

If it still does not work look under Autofest San Diego. I'm on page 15 about 4 rows down.

the red oval is the neon tube, and the dotted blue lines are pieces of plastic I cut away to allow more light to pass through. I mounted all my tubes inside the bumper.. this way I can be sure they will never crack.

I put my tube on that same spot, if you get a kit or a front lip, that'll definitely hide the neon tube

just a half ***'d thought but what'd if you put it above the open section of the bumper so it would shine on/through the grill? you'd probably get less lite on the ground though.

I am not rich and I have DC5 Swap (jdm rsx type-r)
As for mounting the neons I found the best way to do it. If you have a lowered car then try not to use the neons for the the sides instead replace the neon with just a straight wire to complete the electrical loop. you can run the wires in or out of the vehicle. I drilled holes in the trunk and went through the interior and out throught the fire wall.
When your car is lowered it's hard not to crack them and if you brake one all of them go out. I got fed up and just mounted the front and rear. Here is what I did and it's a bulletproof idead. Get a front and rear bumper with grilles. You will notice you can see the crash bars behind the bumpers. Put the neon up under the crash bar and at each end of the neon mark 2holes per side of the neon. Drill the holes you marked. Here is the tricky part. Get heavy duty zip ties and feed it through the 2 holes then place the neon and lock that neon in place. Do that for each side of teh neon. Try to zip tie on the rubber of each end of the neon and not the actual tube itself. I found the neons never brake unless you get in an accident. Hope this helps.

I just tucked the tube in at the very bottom where the bumper is clipped on. Just remove the clips, stuff the tube in, and tie it through the clip holes with zipties. I did a diy about the install a while back. It has the pics if you want to look.
