Tie Rod Boot Warped Threads

Sup all, i juss got a quick question. I recentaly warped the threads on my tie rod boot when i was installing my front springs and i wanted to kno if i would be able to take the bolt out and would it go back in?? Or do i need to replace the tie rod boot. Because i already forced it on there. So a i wanted to kno if i would be able to take it out again and put the bolt back on. Thanks for the help

I did that to one of mine because it was rusted on solid. Mine didnt get very bent, but I screwed up the threads. I just went to autozone and loaned out their thread repair kit, and worked on the threads with the file (they are 1.25 pitch and I think 8mm thread diameter or 10 I cant rember). Basically thatll clean it up so it all goes back on. If you screwed it up too much youll just have to buy the whole endlink which is like 40-50$. You do have to pay 80$ to get the thread kit from auto zone, but when you bring it back you get your money back.

no no no. lol thats not what i mean. My front right passenger side the threads are warped right now. But i have to go to a tire place to take apart my springs cuz there is a metal to metal noise comming fromt that side and they need to take the strut out so i was wondering once they take it out can they put it back in, like force it back? I had to force it back in when me and my friends released it was warped.
