wow i wish i bought the tyep SS's instead of the basic, its not stiff enough for me... =/
Hey Alex1 have you checked the rears to see if the boot is shreded at the bottom? take a look at that first... if not try and grease your springs. IF that's not that problem then check if the upper screws that bolt to the car.

yeah man, i had HARD CORE clunking.. like the spare tire wanted out or something.. took the rears out twice, couldnt figure out what it was.. tightened everything (twice!!), still couldnt figure it out. i knew it wasnt my dusters because um... i dont have any!!! so i took out the pass. rear and looked at that one, then took out the driv. rear and looked at that one and discovered i was missing a washer.. all that noise for one missing washer.. damn.. prob fixed though.. now im taking those 40mph, 90 degree right turns..

it probably rides the same, but after time, if you just had springs, you would eventually blow your stock shocks. with the teins, you wont have to replace your shocks in a yr...enjoy
the reason why i bought TEIN is because it will save me money along the way from buying stock shocks and struts that blow in a few months in NYC streets. they are tougher and made to handle off road stress. plus the strut and shock body are a bit shorter eliminating that clanking sound u hear if u have springs that are about 2 inches in drop. since the gas tube on stock is longer than the spring allowing it to move up and down. they are also adjustable in height which is good for service checks at the dealer, alignments, carwashes (no driveway), and the ever so dreadful snow.
i may not be 100% accurate but im close enough.
