Teins have cometh!
I picked up my teins SS's yesterday after a long week and a half of waiting. right after, i went to my buddy's shop and we installed them. all i have to say is that it was the best investment i have made for my car thus far. considering the crappy Dropzone Springs i had before, these teins are like 7th heaven. nice stuff. if you guys have any questions... post em!

Ride is great. theyre 16 way adjustable so it a prefrence thing on how stiff or soft you want your shocks. it handles better than anything in my opinion. and about the guy who has been waiting for a month and a half.. think you got jacked. who did you order them from?

SnowBoreddave: I ordered them from PiNk off of this site.
She works for a shop that's about a 4 hour drive from here.
I gave my friend the money, he placed the order (I'm positive of it, I got a receipt), and I'm still waiting.
PiNk won't answer my PM's...so I don't know what's goin on. It's seriously starting to **** me off!
The store is called Autobas. Man, this really sucks!

I live in Ottawa, Canada, so we have a different distributor, but still, this is just unnacceptable.
The problem is, the price these guys want is WAY cheaper than anywhere else. (by $500CAD plus tax).
gggrrrrrrrr
have you installed them? you're happy with them? I'm SO sick of riding on goldlines and blown struts!

UpNorth2K1: they're selling them for $1700 cash only.
no tax, just pick it up for $1700.
I tried emailing a place in richmond (can't remember the name), but my mail server at work is getting smoked by a virus
how much can you find them for around you, UpNorth2K1?

Snow,
Did you buy the 01s bearing ring for the install. 01 Suspension is a little different than 02s.
Weather has been bad around here so I haven't worked on my Teins in a bit.

ok, wait. Rather than me wait for the SS...I might buy the flex.
I remember that somebody said that the flex from the Si will fit a non-Si, non?
or is it that the RSX flex will fit the civic?

na, i didnt have to modify them at all. it was a pretty straight forward install. the only thing i was pissed off about was that the monkeys the installed my dropzones took out my stock rear dusters so i was pissed about that but yeah, perfect install, no problems. the bearing rings fit fine. i have my suspension set 4 clicks from full stiff, feels nice around here in so cal but everyone has their own personal preference

thanks RedDragon333...I think I'll ask for my money back (deposit) and order them online.
with the canadian dollar finally doing decent, it'll actually be cheaper than buying it here (even including brokerage and duty fees)!

Yeah, that was in canuck funds.
UpNorth2K1: that's a reasonable price, but not a good one.
Tornactive has the SS system, and it will work out to $1450 plus duties. Worst case scenario, you pay $200 for duty (which shouldn't happen)...you've still received the tein's for $1650.
So, labour shouldn't cost more than a hundred bucks. You could even do it yourself over the weekend if you have the time/tools? Might save you some dough?
