Front Springs Install Question

I am swapping out some Skunk2 adjustables with some Goldline springs and I am having a bit of trouble up front. How do you get the strut assembly back in? With the Skunks the springs were so small you could just push up and compress the strut to get everything lined back up. With the Goldlines the spring is proving to be a bitch and I can hardly get it compressed to line everything back up to screw it back in. Will I need spring compressors on the Goldlines as I reinstall the strut assembly back into the car or am I going about it all wrong?

Nah you shouldnt need the compressor after you get the top perch installed. Make sure that the top strut nut is tightened as far as it'll go. When your putting the strut assembly in, remember that the arrow on the top perch has to point inwards towards the engine bay. As long as there is nothing keeping the lower control arm up you should be able to jiggle it in.

your going at it wrong.. i made the same mistake...
you have to have BOTH wheels jacked up. that way the cv boot will drop down more allowing you to fit the strut assembly without having to compress it
